Our whole team is determined to find out all we can about the Dogue de Bordeaux breed. We do this because we’ve found that there’s not a lot of information available online which leads to people not knowing a lot about this excellent breed. This site was created to work against that and to put some valuable details about the breed on the internet. A lot of it is from our own personal experiences of owning this type of dog throughout our lives. Just don’t assume it to be scientific fact or professional veterinary advice.

Although this breed is widely adored and highly sought-after, there still isn’t a huge amount of information about them on the internet which can mean people don’t know a great deal about them. This lack of knowledge can result in them being anxious of this sizable breed when they meet them, before completely falling in love. Unless you’re able to buy one of these dogs yourself, reading is the best way to learn about them.

We promise to update this website whenever we find out some new facts about these dogs, as well as the latest information on common myths surrounding them, how to tackle training and traits. Although we’re sure there’s a lot to get through.

Our organisation is entirely non-profit and so we will not be making money from people visiting this site. Instead, we’re hopeful that some of you will be able to donate to an animal charity of your choice (we love Dogs Trust). This will go towards feeding, caring for and providing shelter for animals in need.
